I know that most of you are not as impressed with Tuffy Dog Toys as I am, but they are one of the only brands of toys I have found that hold up to Remington's chewing... that and the Skinnez! Anyways, we had to order him some more toys recently since the only ones he has left were the Tuffy Toys. The rest had to be thrown away to our dismay because he was eating through them. All that hard earned money spent on toys that only lasted him about a week... uhhggg! So once again we decide to spend a little more money on something that would last us a while.
Now of course toys such as Remington's kongs are still holding strong but my dog has a preference for soft toys. If he could have a stuff animal to chew on everyday of the week he would... however, those sure wouldn't last long. Anyways, the next best thing we have found to tame his desires are the Tuffy Toys and the Skinnez. We purchased all 6 of the Skinnez toys on Overstock.com for 30 bucks. They are usually 9 bucks a piece at Petco so I felt like I got a good deal on those. We are just going to give him one at a time until he destroys them beyond repair. He currently has 4 Tuffy Toys. The Mega Loop, Boomarang, Burtle the Turtle, and the Tug Toy which are all holding up quite well and they are probably 4 months old. So I purchased 3 more, which he got one yesterday and he will get one on Christmas, and one on his b-day. The 3 I got were Sandy the Seal, Sammy McSnapper (fish), and the Alien. He got Sandy the Seal yesterday and already adores her! I know!!! He carries her around everywhere he goes like he is afraid we are going to take her away from him. This is very interesting to us since Burtle the Turtle is his usual buddy he carries around the house with him.
Anyways, long story short I thought I would post this for those of you who haven't tried them and maybe want too. Remember they are more expensive, but I feel they are worth the money for as long as they hold up. And for those of you who these toys were a complete failure... please feel free to give me more indestructible toy ideas!
