This is the hardest thing I have had to do...New Jersey Doodles will know my "Doodlenot" Woody.  He would go to the doodle romps he is a golden lab mix just missing the poodle but, we did not want to leave him out..  He is now 16 and a half.  His health is failing fast.  In July our vet told us maybe 3 months if we were lucky and then he lives on morphine because of the pain.…

I just have to say this is my favorite slide show....This one always make me laugh...no matter how I am feeling. It also makes the things Ozzy and Zoey do look more normal...anyone enjoy this one as much as I do?

OZZY'S FIRST HAIR CUT TURNED OUT FINE....WHY DID I WORRY THAT THEY MAY MAKE HIM LOOK FUNNY, I DON'T THINK OZZY WOULD HAVE CARED ONE BIT ABOUT HE LOOKED.

SURGERY WAS FINE TOO! I CAN'T HELP BUT WORRY...HIS DEW CLAW WAS GROWING STAIGHT OUT OF HIS LEG AND WAS ALMOST THE LENGHT OF MY FINGER...OK SO I ASK THE VET IF I COULD KEEP HIS DEW CLAWS AND I HAVE THEM HOME IN A JAR...…

Ozzy is having both dew claws removed tomorrow and I can't help but worry about him....first the cone that they will put on his head will knock everything over at home...I keep thinking Zoey will try and help him get to the bandages. He is a big goofy happy dog and I just feel bad..I am sure he will recover faster than I will over this. Plus he is getting his first hair cut today and may look silly on top of all of it too. My little Zoey looks like a dog and barks like a dog but has all the habits of a cat...she is nesting she will scratch and scratch and turn in circles until she gets comfortable. She can jump up on things like a cat too. Ok I know she is a dog but has anyone ever seen this nesting thing in a puppy???? I never have seen it before.

Ozzy has two dew claws that have to be removed next week...Why do dogs have them??? and why don't they get removed when they are born??? Did anyone else have this problem??? Ozzy's have turned upside down and are growing in a "C" shape back into his leg....Poor Ozzy is going to have is front legs shaved to have the dew claws removed and the back leg for the IV. I guess I will even it out and shave the 4th so now he will look like a poodle.

WELL I AM VERY LUCKY AS YOU CAN SEE OZZY TOOK TO ZOEY VERY WELL....THEY PLAY TOGETHER ALL THE TIME, SHE ACTUALLY BOSSES HIM AROUND, AND HE LETS HER GET AWAY WITH IT TOO. HE WATCHES OUT FOR HER ALL THE TIME. I GUESS I WILL FORGIVE HIM FOR STANDING ON THE TABLE.

How funny is this that Adiana said the next slide show would be called "Naughty" well I went through my pictures to find one of Ozzy as a baby getting into my flowers...no sooner did I tag the picture when I walked into my kitchen to find Ozzy (all of 65 pounds) sitting on my kitchen table barking out the window...He now has figured that he can see much better out the window that way..of course I had to take the picture and try to lift him off the… Continue
