[Oliver]

Oliver is getting so big! Or really, it's his legs that are getting much longer! I know I say it all the time, but he is SUCH a good boy! It's like I'm waiting for the terrible, puppy stage to kick in! He is constantly looking directly in my eyes to see what he should be doing. It's like he's having a conversation with me but only with his eyes! Whenever he's not sure what to do, I swear I can see his brain working. Usually during our eye contact during these times he will sit very purposefully, I swear he thinks to himself, "She really seems to like this sit thing so I'll just go ahead and do that now," and then he slowly sits wherever he's at. lol

If you say NO he'll stop whatever he's doing and just stare back at you...and he hasn't had an accident in the house in 2 weeks! While we were in Ohio (for Thanksgiving) we had to give him another bath since he got pretty dirty wrestling with my brother's puppy out in the snow/dirt. My brother and sister-in-law were absolutely amazed at how mellow he is- if you put him in any position, he'll just lay there and stay haha...When we go out in public I have people actually come up to me and ASK if he's a puppy! Since he isn't a complete nut job while walking on his leash and he's super calm, people just assume he's an adult.

OTHER THINGS:
- His favorite place to lay are in corners.
- He will watch television and will be especially attentive if there's a dog on tv!
- His new favorite chew toy are pig hooves (which look like they will last him for months)!
- He loves meeting new people and new dogs and LOVED playing with my nephews.
- He slept the entire 6 hour drive there and back from Ohio for Thanksgiving.
- We've been letting him sleep in the bathroom over night so he has more room to sleep/entertain himself if he wakes up, and so far he's done really well. He usually either wakes me up once at 5am or 2am to go potty.
- He's reliable when it comes to nudging the poochie bells to tell us he has to go potty.
- He has his next vet appointment on Tuesday!

Great to hear that Olivers doing so well. Hopefully Gus and Lilly will get to meet him some day at one of the Annapolis romps or maybe the DC Doodle group can try and organize another one more local.
