Lucy At School
Like any good parent, I decided Lucy and I needed training. I was absolutely sure that she would be the star of the class. After all, wasn't she smarter than any other dog that I know?
Well, so much for great plans. If you have read any of my blogs, you know that Lucy is a water dish diver. The trainer had a play time for the dogs in the class to get them aquainted, and get them calmed down. The owners had to leave the room and watch from outside.
Lucy is beside herself with joy. She found a friend in a yellow Lab pup her size. They are wrestling, knocking over chairs, and mowing over anything in their path. All of a sudden, Lucy has found the very large water dish. She is standing with both feet in the bowl trying to empty it with both paws. I know it's going to be all down hill from here. The yellow Lab named Annie joins in. The two of them managed to cover the floor with water, wet the other poor timid dog. soak the leashes and themselves. I see water running off Lucy's face. Good grief, what next? The trainer called for help. Another employee shows up with towells to dry the floor and the dogs and the leashes and the trainer and the parents. So, it goes to show, things don't always follow my carefully planned training class for Lucy. My apology to the poor soaked dogs that left class that day.

She knows how to have a good time Sharon! I read your previous blog too...fun as always...but didn't have time to respond =) Keep sharing Lucy stories...I love them!

What a hoot! Happy Miss Lucy having a grand ol' time. I can picture the entire scenario and am laughing out loud. Go you Lucy girl!
