Homemade crate bumpers

I was hoping that someone could give me an idea about making my own crate bumpers. I have found many on the computer but I really don't want to pay $60 plus for them. I was thinking that I could make some with things that I may have around the house. Has anyone came up with a good crate bumper that isn't too expensive? Thanks for any help.

For the life of me I cant figure out the need for crate bumpers! They actually cause a danger to your puppy/dog.

Your puppy/dog is primarily in the crate at times when he cant be supervised and leaving plush items in the crate that can be chewed on, shredded and swallowed is very dangerous!

I would skip this cute idea all together!

Never thought about it..........good idea though. Could you just use a crib bumper from a garage sale?
