A bad dream...

I had a bad dream during the early hours of this morning...

I dreamed that I opened the door, and Koda bolted, he leaped over the wall and plunged 9 storeys to his death! I was histerical, sobbing and begging my DH to rush him to the emergency clinic so that the doctor could fix him up and make him well again :(

I woke up from my dream, sobbing! DH comforted me...

Zooey brought her binky (or rather Koda's new birthday binky toy) up to the bed and laid down next to me, squeaking the toy. I cuddled up with her, and showered her with extra kisses while inhaling her wonderful homely scent. Koda was still sleeping soundly...

I love my furkids!

Suzann - K & Z often whine in their sleep, but they have never howled. I wonder if dogs grieve like human.

Camilla - that was an awful dream :( Could it be the manifestation of our greatest fear -- losing our pups?

I think Bandit had a bad dream the other night, he woke up howling/crying and was just laying there on the floor I brought him into bed with me and he was fine, maybe he dreamed he lost his mommy:( how scary for him.

I had a dream that somebody stole Darwin, and I woke up crying as well. I woke up and snuggled with him all morning. Love my doodle!

Jane - I think DH and I both love the puppers dearly (some think that we are crazy dog people). I guess we fear losing them. This is my first... but DH told me when we first brought Koda home he had such similar dreams, several times.

Shelly, its true, it bothers me, even though it was just a dream. I gave them tons of kisses all day :)

OMG, that was a nightmare! I wonder if you had been worried about the "furkids", and that triggered the dream.
