When we first went to pick our Molly girl up, she was the softest ball of fluffy black fur I had ever seen or felt. She was all black aside from a small heart shaped white patch on her chest.
Our breeder told us she would more than likely be blue/grey when she fully matured.
As the weeks go by, she has started to sprout (lol, do dogs sprout hair) white fur from her feet. The tips of her feet are now a light shade of grey almost white. Shortly after, she also started to sprout (again) white fur from under her chin, it's really rather cute.
She was also getting a shade of brown around her nose/muzzle area.
Last weekend my MIL commented on how her entire body now has a brownish appearance.
Last night I noticed that the brown around her nose area was really noticable and turning even darker.
I'm not sure what color Molly wants to be, but I'm having fun watching her change colors :-) I've never had a dog that changed as much as she has in appearance from the time she was born. I'm still holding out hope that she might have a bit of blue/grey in her...but regardless, she's still a cutie!

She has been very good lately.
The transition from TOTW to Wellness (with a scoop of yoghurt and pumpkin) has been working out WONDERFULLY.
One happy, healthy pup!
I gave her a small dry NB treat yesterday and today I finally gave her a peanut butter filled kong. We'll see how she does today when I get home from work! I'm hoping things will remain going just fine and no more stomache issues!!

Fudge turned from a deep chocolate doodle to an almost silvery brown doodle. I love all the colors she has been and every time she gets groomed, it is like picking up a present...LOL! Molly is beautiful!!

Oh Wow! Lucy looks a lot like my Molly!
I need to take more pictures, I'm afraid I'll forget what she looked like as a pup.
Sadly, I got Molly when she was already 13 weeks old...so I missed the really tiny puppy pictures. However, I managed to grab a few from my breeder- while Molly was still posted on her website. So I do know what she looked like as a tiny 8 week old.

Daisy did the same thing....from dark chocolate brown with white feet (most thought she was black) to mocha....now she is even starting to look cream with dark ears and elbows. She is 20 months and still hasn't decided what color she is.

We love watching her change and at first were a little freaked but now she is gorgeous!

and she is even more "pewter" today than in these photos.  With each haircut she gets more pewter (blue) colored.  Their Mom was a blue poodle.  If you look at her head in the 6 month photo you can see the brown tips as well.  She also used to have some of these on her back, but they went away with the first haircut.

Kona is 4 years old and still changing colors! He started out black, became pewter and now has brownish tones in his coat. We are stumped what color to call him. I can clearly see that the tips of his hair look black now so it must be growing in even lighter. It's a fun mystery.

Phoebe changed as well from deep chocolate to cafe au lait.  She is now two years old and she has the most beautiful ombre colored (a fade from dark to light) ears and legs.  She gets compliments on her coloring all the time.  Molly is just precious!

She is absolutely gorgeous and her color is so pretty. Just for kicks, you should look at some of the coat changes from pup to adult in this group. Some of them are really surprising!

I'm glad her tummy is doing well. :-)

Sedona's coat, too, has changed many times during the past two years.  A couple of months ago, she seemed to have lost a lot of her apricot and was almost entirely a chalk color (which isn't exactly what we expected when we named her "Sedona" after the reddish rock formations in Sedona, Arizona).  However, recently she's back to her apricot with even darker reddish patches on her sides.
