A morning of puzzled doodle looks!

So Myla has to go to the vet to get her teeth cleaned (nervous-me-not sure if she knows yet) Anyway, they always eat around 5 when I get up and the vet said no food after 6pm last night!! My DH fed Chloe in the hallway when he took her out at 3:30am

First-I think Chloe forgot she ate! They are both following me around and jumping up everytime I move to see if they are going to eat-especially Myla, poor baby is hungry. It's killing me because she lays on the floor with her chin down looking up at me making these sighing and groaning sounds! Another thing, Chloe is NOT going to like being left home alone (they do everything together-our bad training fault) Myla will freak out at the vet when I don't go in with her! That's the part I worry about the most.

I have 2 appointments right away after that so my husband will have to pick her up after work if all is well. I hate having to be the one to have to drop her off! The drop off is in about an hour so I can escape some of the guilt trip by getting in the shower now where I don't have to look at them!! Wish Myla luck!! Her 1st cleaniing!

Thanks to ALL of you who wished us luck! They just knew something wasn't right yesterday morning! Chloe was sleeping on our bed and I said ok Myla let's go potty and we snuck out! Myla was very iuntrigued in the car without Chloe, she stood the whole time (usually she lays down) When we turned into the vet, she just trotted up the ramp like nothing...until I opened the door then she tried to run back down. The lady that took her was actually a lady from our neighborhood who works there so she knows her. She started to walk in the back room and I snuck away!!THE GUILT all day until my DH said she can go home early-then the jealousy! I wanted to get her but had an appointment (from when I fell out of bed-have to see a Chiro now) SO anyway she jumped in the back of the SUV and laid down and is still sleeping! Very mellow around here so I get to clean!!! It's finally a sunny today so if I finish we can go outside. If she ever wakes up-I will try to get the clean teeth picture!! WE never had one for her, she has a major underbite so all the air goes in her mouth all the time-they said everything looks fine for now, she may have issues with it when she's older. So the relief is a great feeling!! Thanks everyone!!

Hope all goes well with Myla today!  I know the feeling of dropping them off.  As for the separation, I used to worry about that a lot when I first started doing therapy work with Sophie because I had to leave Lucy home alone.  Even if I left her with DH, she howled the entire time we were gone.  Even worse if I was leaving her by herself.  I started leaving her with some really special treat toys that she only gets when Sophie and I leave to go on our therapy visit.  Now, whenever she sees me start fixing those treats she knows what is coming and she is excited.  As soon as I ask her if she needs to potty, when she comes in she runs to her room and waits for her treat toys.  Sophie knows the routine as well and she then goes to the back door to wait on her leash to go bye bye.  I actually took Lucy out the other day and left Sophie home and she was not a happy camper.  She did not understand why she was getting left, so we really need to work on that a little bit.  Anyway, let us know after you pick up Myla how everything went.
