Dear Fudge & Vern, this is Rooney and boy do I have a bone to pick with you.  I have come to believe that your mom is a very bad influence on my mom.  It was bad enough that those two are taking a cruise while leaving us doods home - carousing about, having adventures and probably some frozen cocktails, but then your parents had to go get you a boat, and trust me - even though I HATE water, I was happy for you guys, cute pictures, happy blogs, yadda yadda.  Well now my parents are getting a boat and I am blaming it on your mom!  That's right - my mom & dad jumped on the boat bandwagon without even taking into serious consideration MY feelings because I would have voted NO.  My younger, much larger - water LOVING (and less intelligent) brother is all excited!  So my parents have been very distracted this past week, taking us to daycare while they are running all over two states to find the perfect boat - it is coming this Friday and my mom the safety nut has already gotten us the dreaded doggy life vests.  I'm not going to get on that boat willingly and there is no way I'm getting into any water - I'm a dood whose hair doesn't do well when wet.  I heard my mom saying that she was going to be asking your mom some doggie boating advise - apparently she doesn't want nail scratches on the upholstery or us Stuart leaping out of the boat while underway (this might be my chance to give big 'ol Stuart a little nudge).  Can I ask - is there anything else your parents are about to do?  Skydiving, motorcycles with you guys in the side cars because I'm about to start chewing on my mom's computer if there is.

OK, now I am laughing. I totally misunderstood what everyone was asking. Of course, we wear robes over our bathing attire :)  Doris, I am walking down to your cabin every morning and knocking on your door in my bikini to share a cup of coffee :)

Oh, Doris, I am sure your intentions were pure. I will use some paradoxical intention and tell Laurie she must wear her bikini.

Also, I need to say one more thing and then I'll quit...Lisa and I were only wanting to see a pic of them wearing robes ON the boat, similar to the ones that Fudge and Vern are forced to wear. We were simply asking for a family pic, if you will.  We never asked about what they wore underneath.  This blog has now gone to a whole new level and that was never our intention...

@F and others:  I need all of you to help me convince Laurie NOT to bring her swim suits of choice on the Doodle Cruise.  I realize yall aren't going but please think about those of us who are.  I am going to start being nice to her RIGHT NOW!

Actually, we are just wondering what is wrong with our DM not getting us robes! She could sew them for pete's sake if she would ever get off that stinking computer!

I may have to resign DK. A speedo and bikini. More than I can deal with. I hope that's only with robes over them A whole section of the country will be.....

Rooney's momma here - I'm laughing so hard that I'm trying not to pee my pants!  I just tried the boy's life vests on for the first time and Rooney went first.  Stood still - walked around with it on - went really well, actually pretty stylin I'd say.  Moved on to try Stuart's on and oh my gosh - we are all hysterical - he froze, just stood there and wouldn't move.  Wouldn't take one step even for a treat.  His ears were droopy, no smile - no tail wag.  Hmmm - wonder what he was thinking.

No the boys do not have the bathrobes BUT I might try to get Dori to make them some :)
