Dear Fudge & Vern, this is Rooney and boy do I have a bone to pick with you.  I have come to believe that your mom is a very bad influence on my mom.  It was bad enough that those two are taking a cruise while leaving us doods home - carousing about, having adventures and probably some frozen cocktails, but then your parents had to go get you a boat, and trust me - even though I HATE water, I was happy for you guys, cute pictures, happy blogs, yadda yadda.  Well now my parents are getting a boat and I am blaming it on your mom!  That's right - my mom & dad jumped on the boat bandwagon without even taking into serious consideration MY feelings because I would have voted NO.  My younger, much larger - water LOVING (and less intelligent) brother is all excited!  So my parents have been very distracted this past week, taking us to daycare while they are running all over two states to find the perfect boat - it is coming this Friday and my mom the safety nut has already gotten us the dreaded doggy life vests.  I'm not going to get on that boat willingly and there is no way I'm getting into any water - I'm a dood whose hair doesn't do well when wet.  I heard my mom saying that she was going to be asking your mom some doggie boating advise - apparently she doesn't want nail scratches on the upholstery or us Stuart leaping out of the boat while underway (this might be my chance to give big 'ol Stuart a little nudge).  Can I ask - is there anything else your parents are about to do?  Skydiving, motorcycles with you guys in the side cars because I'm about to start chewing on my mom's computer if there is.

Even though we are card carrying members (well, not actually since we don't have pockets) of the Naked Doodle Club, we both think those robes are a bit of jenyus. Every time we get out of the bath we are throwing ourselves all over the carpeting and furniture to dry off. If there were robes attached to us it would work out so much better... saving us from diving into the floor shoulder first.

Doris, It is none of your business what we wear on the boat....LOL!! For all you know it could be a bikini and speedo :)

Hey Rooney, Laurie's blogs had my mom looking at paddle boards, I'm not sure if I'm happy or disappointed that she didn't get one. I do like the water but only when I am chasing my duck. I don't know if I would like wearing one of those life jackets. I bet you'll learn to love the boat and with time you won't be such a landlubber. :>)
