An unusual rescue Maltese

I am often posting pictures of our rescue Maltese and how really bad they look when we get them.  Dakota, is a dog who has been cared for very well.  In fact, his owner had planned to show him but, she has accepted a career enhancing foreign assignment to which she cannot take Dakota.

She loves the boy and wanted to ensure that he will have a loving home but, she did not have the time to search for that home.  Instead, she asked Maltese Rescue California if we would take Dakota and find him a proper home.

He is a handsome dog and has a great personality.  He just bubbles with enthusiasm...

We do not plan to take Dakota to any rescue event because that would be detrimental to the adoption of our other dogs.  However, we are sure that we will have families lining up to adopt him...

He is so adorable, I am sure that he will find the perfect home, it must be very hard for the person who is having to give him up.

I agree with F - very difficult choices in life sometimes.  But he is beautiful and clearly well cared for and loved.  And I'm also confused by the flowers, but who am I to question Dakota's preferences.....LOL.
