April Fool's Brought Snow AND a BEAR!

Sitting down to do the taxes this morning...and out of the corner of my eye I see the bird feeder going down....!?!?!

I didn't think the wet and heavy snow that had been falling all morning could do it.......

This guy hung around for quite a while....and Banjo REALLY wanted to go out and play with him....but was entertained watching him from the window.

Guess who WON'T be doing "poop patrol" for a while?!

HOLY SH*T!  (oops excuse my 'French', Carol)  To me that looks pretty wild, but thank God Banjo wasn't outside playing! WOW!  How did you get rid of Mr? Bear????  I'd be afraid to take Banjo out at night to go pee pee or poo poo! lol   I say...pack those bags and head south... to say - North Carolina!  Or at least half way say Long Island....   :o)    (We got wet flakes yesterday, but no accumulation.)

That is so cool. We get bears in our neighborhood too. He looks like a young one.

I thought he was adorable Nancie....He was very slow moving, taking his time, enjoying his find.  It was interesting to watch him, he'd stop and raise his  nose to "catch" scents.....which brought him to another feeder in the yard.  He hung out for 15 minutes or so.   I would have been more concerned if he'd been ravaging the place.

Wow, amazing photos.  I think he has a cute face!!!  I love the second photo.  How long did he hang around?  I would have been pretty frightened!

Pretty neat.... but yeah, I don't think Shelby would have wanted to play - but probably would have been pawing on the window and barking/growling/grumbling would be happening!
