Are Doodles the New Real Estate!

We had a good laugh this morning when I logged on to DK and was looking at the dogs available for adoption. I saw that Taffy went PENDING and I said wow, that was quick, she just came up yesterday. Hubby said, oh great, are Doodles now going to be your New Real Estate? You see, we moved to Ohio from Florida 2 years ago. We got caught in the beginning of the down slide of the real estate market in FL. It took us 17 months to sell our home (not to mention the thousands in price drops). Anyway, I became obsessed with the real estate market (and have to admit I have not lost that obsession even now). Every day I would analyze what was on the market in our area, what sold, what went pending, what was priced where. Anytime something like our home sold I had to figure out why it sold and ours didn't. There were so many times people would look at 50 or 60 homes, and it seemed we always came in number 2. So now I guess DH thinks I'll be analyzing all the doodles for adoption and trying to figure out why one goes pending and they didn't choose our Foster Topper! lol. It really was kind of funny!

Ido wish I had of known of doodle rescue years ago when I adopted my dogs from the shelter and had the free spirit and abiltiy to take care of any problems that may pop up with a rescue dog. We just aren't in the stage in our lives to rescue and had to have a well bred doodle. I am so happy that doodles and pets have the people who will take a chance to love a pet in need. Our dogs from the shelter that they were going to put down due to diarreah are both 17 years old on St Patricks day. They were worth the chance.
