Bee Sting Nightmare...

[Puppy Love]

Jackson was stung by the bee at 7:30 am this morning and he had a major allergic reaction.  Within 20 minutes his nose was 3x the original size, eye swollen shut, fever up and trouble breathing. We rushed him to emergency room and he was treated and released by 3pm.  Quiet a scare and now I will always be so terrified of bees.  If I wasnt home he may of died  Terribly scary situation. So Grateful for the incredible team that took care of my puppy today at Laguna Hills Hospital.

So glad he is OK!  I always worry about my Buddy, he loves to snap at all flying things.  The bees really worry me.

I guess I'll be keeping some benedryl on hand too, thanks for the info.

That's good to know about the stinger. I'll bet they are hard to find in all that hair!

Oh my gosh, how scary!!  I'm so glad he's okay.  Can you carry epi-pens for dogs?  Or is that just for humans?

Jackson's doctor said next time give him benadryl immediately & if i see any slight chage or swelling to rush him into hospital. She also said its really important to remove the stinger properly. I could not find the stinger it took several peiple at hospital to find it. Finally one tech found it.
