Beemer Update - Week 2 - Second Hip

What a difference a week makes....our little Beemer is wagging his tail (must be kind of hard because he wags his whole back end!). He had his stitches out today and the vet said everything looks great. You can no longer see the scar on his left hip and by next week you won't be able to see the one on the right hip either....The most difficult part is the healing process will take quite a while longer and once you don't see those scars you kind of forget...except for the funky haircut....but you have to wait for that photo....cause it's going to be quite a shot!....Last night was the first night that Beemer slept alone...yep, we convinced Daddy to get out of the x-pen and go to bed....turns out Daddy only lasted until 3:30 am....and then he went back to the x-pen....gotta love him!

Once again, we would like to thank everyone for their support....without all your doodle stories and photos...it would have been very difficult to stay house bound for so many weeks...we will forever be grateful...

Now Beemer would like to wish everyone a very Happy Easter....even though he STILL doesn't like anything on his head........

Such a good boy! Gotta love daddy to for being such a sport and spending all those nights in the x-pen! So happy to hear that we are counting down the days (ok weeks) until this whole mess is behind you! Hang in there!
