First I would like to say thank you for all the well wishes upon my recent neutering....The stay at the hospital was not so bad...the staff just loved me and threatened to keep me...but my folks finally came to spring me on Tuesday morning....good thing to cause the WiFi connections were not that great....I am not sure what this whole neutering thing is, but I now have what looks like thread attached to my body in a spot I am not to fond of showing to anyone!...Never the less...people keep looking at it and saying how good it looks (all clean and dry)...what in the heck are they doing?.....I have taken this opportunity to take every toy away from my sister....hence, the pink Care Bear in the photo...and what did they do to my hair?...I look like they stuck my paw in a light socket!....but I digress...I am feeling very good....no cone (heard a lotta guys have to wear them) and no pain meds (heard they can be pretty awsome).....the hardest part is just about the time I get going really fast...someone grabs me and puts me back in my crate! I guess I'm not suppose to be running around and playing with Comiskey so much....but the upside to this is I get anything I want....treats...special food...and a whole lot of cuddling...now I wouldn't recommend it for everyone, (or maybe I would) but all in all not a bad experience....again, thank you for your support!

Sincerely, Beemer

Yes, I love Smilebox. It took me a while to get the postings done on DoodleKisses, but it was a good experience. It is also great to have Hondo feeling well again. This is the second time he has gone into liver failure, and that is such a scare for me. Glad your neutering went well. Everyone should do it!

Glad to hear you're on the road to recovery. You're luckier (or smarter) than me. I had to wear one of those collars! Enjoy the TLC. ..Beckett

Hey Beem, I was so young, my DP's just carried on as usual. No special stuff at all. What a bummer. I wish I had known I could have faked the pain and suffering. Keep it up, man - good work!

Hey Beem man, glad you were sprung from the hospital in one piece. (Ha Ha-well maybe minus a few) No collar for me either-I had to where it home, but mom took it off when I couldn't drink out of my water dish. I really fooled her but it worked-she never put it back on. Just don't lick or gnaw at yourself or they will bring out a diaper or something. That would not be cool!! After a few days, they pretty much let me romp around in the house-but no dog parks for 10 days. That was a drag. I was so bored-and they just kept staring at me all the time. It's been three weeks for me now and my mom has finally stopped checking me out, you know where, every five minutes. I was pretty much spoiled rotten though for a few days. Now after three weeks-things are back to normal. That's OK though-they were smothering me!! After all, a guy needs some privacy. Welcome home dude-your pal Thomas

Halas thinks your hair looks great. He had to wear a cone that smushed his hair when he was neutered, so he thinks you've got it way better. Hope your recovery continues to go well. But maybe you should at least whine once in awhile to keep that extra special treatment going.

Dear Beemer,

Welcome home! You'll be up and at 'em in a matter of days, so milk that toy thing for all it's worth. You're a cutie, even with that hairdo! Love from Michele and Penny the WonderDog.

Newsflash Beemer, within 10 to 14 days it's back to normal again, all that special attention and yummy treats...we still get them...just not as often (the treats that is, attention who could not love me)!!!! Honey and I are glad to hear you are on the road to recovery, just slow down and milk it for everything you can...lol....Hannah

Aww, Beemer, you are too cute! Enjoy the spoiling, buddy, as soon as you heal it's business as usual! Glad you're not feeling too bad.

Beemer,
We are so glad to hear it wasn't too bad. Just don't tell your DP or those special treats may get fewer and fewer.
