Benny taking part in the Dog Whisperer European Live Tour

As some of you might have heard already Benny was chosen to take part in the Dog Whisperer European Live Tour.

The show took place in Amsterdam and my boyfriend taped our "performance" with the Iphone as cameras were not allowed.

Sorry for the bad quality but the sound is alright so I won't write the whole story down but you can have a look yourselves.

Interesting but I don't always agree with Cesar. Exciting for you and Benny though.

It was fun to be part of the show but I do not think that it will help me a lot because

1. in the Netherlands dogs are allowed to be off leash in most spots so on my daily walks in the nature reserve he is always off leash. If he is 50 meters away from me I cannot control if he eats a dead bird or dog poo (another thing in Holland here that people do not need to clean up after their dogs in certain areas)

 

2. the things like the cat laxative he ate not because he stole it from a kitchen counter or anything like this. He would never take anything from a table or out of the kitchen. The thing is that he works in a team with Tyler and that Tyler only does it when they are both alone at home. Tyler is the counter surfer and steals things. Once it is on floor then Benny thinks it is alright and eats it. But as this happens only when they are alone at home I have no chance to control the situation.

In short, it was not helpful for me personally regarding Benny but it was really interesting how he interacts with dogs. I really wanted to see it live and his timing and body language are really as perfect as his TV show makes us believe.

He has brilliant observation skills and he can also read people in no time.

You and Benny are stars!  How cool that you got to meet and be advised by Cesar Milan.  Did it actually help you train Benny not to eat the wrong things?
