Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum

Well it looks like darling little Noah started a trend. And I don't know why, but it seems our little Goldendoodles have something against Stuart Weitzman......Yep, he did it.
Now you have to understand, I cannot and would not afford to buy a pair for myself. But my sister does. And if she finds a shoe that she loves enough, she will buy it even if it is not comfortable. This has been a real benefit to me, as my foot is a little bit smaller than hers. Well, the pair of Stuart's that she gave me, less than two months ago, that I had hanging in a shoe bag on the back of my bedroom door, and wrapped in plastic bags, Fozzy picked as his chew toy of the day.

Well I have to admit, I was absolutely heart broken, then I was terrified to tell my sister that he destroyed the shoes, then I thought "OMG, if I were Jane, I wouldn't have hidden the shoe Noah destroyed in the back of her sister's closet, I would have thrown both of them in the garbage and then down the shoot so there would be no evidence left behind. Amazingly, perhaps because of Noah & Jane, I didn't get totally pissed off, I was just thankful I didn't pay for them......LOL

LOL! Maybe I should wear them to work hoping my boss thinks I am broke and will give me a BIG raise!!!!! (yeah, I'm dreaming!) Yes, I play the chasing game with Fozzy too. Every a.m. when I am getting ready to go to work, he runs and runs everywhere much faster than I can. So, we have gotten smarter, the boys and I surround him and catch him so we can lock him up in my room. Hopefully he will be fully house trained so we don't have to play this game of cat and mouse everyday.

Does your camera have a self-timer? Maybe you can try that next time, and then you won't have to contort yourself to get a good pic. Yes, I'm thinking there may be a next time. Hey, as long as the pair is ruined, you may as well give the other shoe to him as a toy. The neighbors will think you're filthy rich, if you can afford to buy your doodle SW shoes. Halas has a fondness for Merrells, but he doesn't really chew them up. He just likes to pull out the insoles and make me chase him around for them. I try not to chase him, but he tries to pull all of the nice warm fluff off of them, so I have to get to him fast.

LOL - counter surfing is the worst. Fozzy is now tall enough that he can actually reach into the sink and pull out a pan, or lick a plate if there is one in there......I guess it is time for some serious training!

Geez, good idea with the toys! But even if the logic works with adults, maybe not so much with kids.

Lucy joined the "Chew-Shoe" Club. I bought new yellow sandles for a new outfit. Wore 2 hours and gone.
She hasn't chewed anything yet - these new yellow shoes were her first. (Mine were only $30 though).
Puppies are so much fun!!!

Ouch! At least you maintained your sense of humor--I give you a lot of credit for that. Of course, when I ran to tell my husband about your shoe, he pointed out our brand new stainless steel appliances with the Phoebe scratches and told me that I seem to have a sense of humor, too (and an outrageous love for our doodles, I might add!)

The "before" picture is the shoe he did NOT destroy. And no, I am not replacing them, they are probably the only pair I will ever own unless my loving sis purchases another pair that is too small for her!

Yes, this was my first experience with photographing my own feet - not an easy task.

Too funny, I thought something happened to a doodle until I read the blog. I have to say though, I have never taken pictures of my feet or my feet in shoes, of course I wear a size ten so there really is no reason to take a picture of them.

How is it you have a before picture of the shoe LOL!? Do you always take pictures of your shoe? LOL!! Or is that the brand new replacement pair?

Thanks Karen, yes, I thought it would add a realistic element to the photo....quite subtle don't you think? LMAO! If Fozzy is ever more than 6 inches away from my feet, it is because he is outside doing his "thing". Listen, I finally get my sons to give me my privacy in the bathroom and then I go and adopt Fozzy. I haven't been at home in the bathroom alone ever since!!! Also - Wow, you are VERY observant!

BTW - sorry about the title, I should know better - bad girl!

Hey Jane - I knew you would definately would appreciate this blog. A couple of weeks ago Fozzy chewed through a pair of my Croc flipflops, so I have been very good about putting the shoes out of reach, which I thought these SW's were. But I guess he is getting tall enough and he stood on his hind legs and pulled it out of the shoe bag.....they are intellegent aren't they?!

As for the bling in the poo, I guess it will be as close as I am going to get to diamond laced too right!!! LOL! I hope your sister took it as well as you made it sound. I am not telling my sister, she can hold a grudge!

I LOVE the doodle paw accessory in the lower right-hand corner of the photo, though! Tres chic!
