Can Someone Please Tell Me... WHY????

As I sit here (in the later part of morning) at my kitchen table, drinking coffee with my lap top in front of me, I look around - only to see.... a floor that needs vacuuming, furniture that needs dusting, a counter FULL of mail that needs to be sifted through, and smudge on my windows and doors that need to be windexed clean.  (and a 18th birthday and graduation party in 2 weeks for my son to plan and clean for)  So WHY then do I sit here searching through forum posts, blogs, and my DK e-mail when there is SO much to do?   Some (non doodle people) would say I'm obsessed and have no self control.  Maybe..... but, What do YOU think?

So happy to know others have the same issue...so much to do but always get stuck on DK first and then nothing gets done! But...has anyone had to buy another computer because of it?? Yep I did, DH say get off the computer spend time in the same room as us blah,blah,blah so I got a laptop!!!! Shameful I know-if I miss a day I have to have catch up time and warn him in advance! I think he's jealous of DK!!!!

There's helpful advice about vacuuming and other cleaning issues on DK all the time.  So it's important to keep a close eye on DK, just so you don't miss any cleaning tips that you could be using.  If that makes you too busy to do any real cleaning, well that's just Murphy's Law.

Lindsey ~ and the rest, as they say, is history!  LOL  

I know I used to tell my son he spent too much time on Facebook!  When he started calling DoodleKisses, "Facebook for Dog Owners", I realized just how important that "face time" was and decided to 'keep my mouth shut' (as long as HIS chores were done {sh!}- after all I AM the mom and can say that! LOL)

HA! Love this post, I'm the exact same way!!!!! People (DH mostly) think I'm nutts!!! I'm also always saying "well I read on DK" or "I heard from some DKer's" or "DK had this posting today..."....
a few days after I joined DK, DH looked at me after I said one of the above lines and said "who the heck is DK?"

"WHY?" Update.... The vacuum has left my livining room and has made its way to the upstairs hallway.  It was actully turned ON as it went up said stairs and sucked up some dirt and doodle fuzzes along its way!  

Woohoo!   Vacuuming.... check.....   now time for therapy!  LOL

I think if you picked housework, etc. OVER DoodleKisses, than you would be truly insane. LOL
