Charlotte Francis is Here!!! (Peri & Tacky's Human sister!)

Forgive me for being so tardy with this post...life has been so hectic, to say the least!

 

Charlotte Francis came 2 weeks early on Friday, September 21st at 7:47 a.m.  She came after only 12 hours of labor (pretty good for a first timer, right?) and weighed 6 lb, 11 oz and is 19" long. 

 

Miss Charlotte is absolutely perfect and we are smitten with her.  The dogs are getting adjusted quite well.  Peri is very respectful of her space and comes up to gently steal kisses and then quickly backs off (especially as soon as I ask her to get off).  Taquito has been ignoring her pretty much - until the past few days.  He now sits right next to me during feedings and came up to smell her today.  I think things are going very well considering such a big change has occurred in choodle's life.  Peri sometimes gets up in the middle of the night to come say hi in the nursery while Charlotte is nursing. She just comes in, licks me and then goes back to her bed (just in the master, in the room next door).  And Tacky is still sleeping in our bed, snug as a bug in a rug :)

 

I promise I will post better pics soon - more of Baby Charlotte with the dogs.  And for some reason, I can't get these to rotate.  Aaah - brain dead mommy mind right now!  Sorry.

 

AND THANK YOU FOR ALL OF THE WELL WISHES!  I HAVE MISSED YOU ALL SO MUCH.  I will be around again soon, but I am trying to nap whenever she naps and really just don't know where my days end up going....

Yay! Welcome to DK, Charlotte! Congratulations and welcome back, Ally!

She is absolutely gorgeous! I'm so glad Choodle are adjusting well, too.

You go ahead and rest when she does. Savor of every minute of every day with her, those were the happiest days of my life and they go by so fast! We will be all be here eager to see more of Miss Charlotte and hear all about her whenever you have time!

You are very wise to sleep when Charlotte sleeps. Keep up the good work. It may all be a blurr for awhile but the feelings will remain... you never lose this incredible love your heart has expanded to hold.

Ahhhh, Charlotte Francis is a beautiful, beautiful baby girl!  Glad everything is going well.  Sleep is the most important thing right now besides feeding baby:^)  I am glad the dogs are accepting the newest member of the family.

Oh Ally - she is just gorgeous!!!!!  My 1st was 3 weeks early and that was the last time in her entire 30 years she was!!
