Gio flies to Venice, Italy today with the breeder--we are all nervous but excited. He is such a good boy--almost housebroken and knows some Italian already! I will feel so much better when he is back on the ground. It is sad knowing that I will never see him again, but I look forward to hearing about his future adventures. 

Presto went to his forever home last Friday and has a great big brother named Rocco, who is a gentle black lab. His name is now Memphis and he is doing really well. Here are a few parting pictures and Litter number 2 is now HISTORY!!

Yes, isn't he nice--and Presto looks so content--i definitely cried when I saw that one. Gio must be just about to take off now--he must be so scared--poor guy--the breeder promises she will call when they land.

Yes, it is nice to know that the Italians in the area will be introduced to our breed!

Wanted to include this pic too--it is so heart-warming! Presto, now Memphis, found a true friend in his new big brother! This was taken on his first day in his new home!!

Who knows? Maybe someday you'll take a trip and as you sit eating you gelato along the grand canal you'll see Gio. That would be lovely. Nice photo of you too. BTW, I didn't see a single doodle in Italy this spring : (
