So proud of Gio--in Italy!!!
Gio is now called DJ (short for Don Giovanni??) by the Italians he is living with and he is really representing Labradoodles in a big way. Most of the people he is meeting have never seen labradoodle, so the fact that he is so darn cute and smart is doing great things for the breed's reputation. I have some pics to share with everyone. My breeder is still there and is posting some on facebook for me. (her email is not working!)
This is DJ with the local people and the woman on the far right is the breeder that first contacted us. The little girl near her has just been adopted by her family and is blind--this is quite a wonderful group of people and I hope I get to meet them all someday.
Another photo with a local man who is president of the Rotary club, I believe.
There has already been a meeting of the people who work with autistic kids--the aim is to train DJ and his progeny to be therapy dogs that will live with the families of the autistic children. DJ is already starting to be trained for this.
Here he is with the breeder from Italy-- He is really growing up!

What a great thing DJ is doing for people. He's making everyone smile and I thnk he will do great with the kids!
