I'm guilty of gazing at the dog clothing when I go to WalMart and PetSmart and thinking how "cute" they'd look......oh WAIT! I'm getting a DOODLE, not a chihuahua!!! Can you see a dress on a standard doodle?! Yikes! Okay, I bought her a t-shirt that says "Kiss Me, I'm Housebroken". Likely I will put it on her long enough to take her photo and then relieve her of the burden. Buttttttttttttttttttt, I still look at the cute dresses, and the t-shirts. But I'm adopting a doodle, so the most I will burden her with is a scarf.....I think those are perfect for doodles! What think the rest of you?

I think DH would tell me "no way"! He has had enough of my sweaters for Taquito (a chihuahua), but he is 6.5 pounds and actually needs a sweater when it gets cold to keep warm! We will stick with a cute scarf or bandana for the holidays for Lady P. Might do Halloween if I can convince DH. He is too obsessed with Peri sans dressup.

I am guilty, as well. I bought a t-shirt for Agnes to wear when she was recovering from her spay surgery. It didn't seem to bother her, but I've never dressed her in anything else except for a bandana. I think we will dress her up for Halloween though -- I was thinking a '50s poodle skirt -- seems fitting to me.

Halloween, I'd do, SuperBowl or Baseball playoffs, I'd have them in the jersey of my favorite team. I will definitely, when I can welcome a doodle into my life, have them wearing a scarf. For the rest, I just can't. I'm SO NOT judging those of you who do.....just that I can't. I love all of your input. It has cheered me on a couple of very tough days where some unforseen reversals have caused me to have to put my puppy adoption on hold. I am sad. LOVE the photos!

I've done the Halloween thing. Yankee was so thrilled.

Kevin, I just think that it would be cute to have a "Biker DOOD" for Halloween!

I always thought doggy clothes were stupid, but now that I have Brody, I want to get him a Halloween costume. My wife wants the harley costume, but I'm thinking he'd be a cute cowboy.

Decisions decisions decisions......

I will have to find the pictures and put one on here, Last year for Halloween my little girl was a dragon soooooooooooo I thought how cute it would be to make a cape for Molly to match my daughters costume so I did, My husband is against anything going on a dog except a leash but he could either walk our little girl up to the doors in our neighborhood or walk the dog.....He got a ton of compliments on Molly as he walked her around with her dragon cape on as he walked and waited for me and our daughter to walk up to each house so she could trick or treat. The funniest thing about it is that I put the Costume and the cape in my garage sale in the springtime that I have and I sold the dog cape first.......I couldn't wait til he got home to tell him.

I am guilty of that, too!! I always look at them and think how cute Charlie can look, or that she needs rain coats, etc....And I would retrieve myself back to the thoughts that she will probably shake them off in 2 seconds or less.....
My kids always stop me from almost buying them with "No! Ma! We are NOT dressing up Charlie!!"
