Coincidence...OR are doodles really this smart??

Last night was an eventful one. I told this story to a friend on DK and she said I needed to post, so here is your laugh for the day!

Our neighbor has a wheaten terrier named Max. He is 1 1/2 and is best buds with Peri. Peri had a lot of energy, so we invited Max to our place after dinner last night. All was going well until 30 minutes into the playdate. Both Peri and Max got the zoomies. They crashed into a tall, ceramic floor vase and it smashed all over the place (it was huge). I kind of had to laugh it off because it scared them to death. Then, as I am cleaning up the mess, Max took a poo right on my living room rug! And it was a nasty, not-easy-to-pick-up one! His dad told me when he gets scared he poops...the loud crash made him scared! It gets even better....after cleaning, we decided we should move it to the neighbors since his place is more open and they are used to playing there at least twice a week. Max and Peri still had lots of energy to get out so we did not want the date to end. Within 5 minutes, Peri pooped in the SAME PLACE in his condo on his RUG! Keep in mind she has not pooped inside since the first week we brought her home and she has been accident-free since early September. We had also taken her out and she had done her business an hour prior to this. Was this a revenge poo or what???
So, DK friends...my question to you is:
Coincidence OR are doodles that smart?

I know - I think this is a coincidence, but Peri did have this look like "what, did I do something wrong? I was getting back at Max for you!". It was so funny...I have told so many people the story at work and we have just been cracking up about the situation.
I know she is smart though! A guy that works at her daycare told my husband that she looks at him like she is thinking really hard and is about to just start talking. That made me laugh too. They love her there.

Funny to think "you do it on my carpet, then I'm going to do it on yours". But it is only get even time if you didn't have to clean up at your neighbors. But, it may be just the running around. I know that Winston has to get moving to poop when he is at the dog park, or on car trips. If you need him to go, then run. It is a given if he has been sooming around he will poop.
