I have a confession. I forgot Peri's 4th Birthday.  It was Saturday. I got a Facebook update from her breeder with all of these photos of Peri and her siblings saying "Happy 4th!" to them and that's how I remembered.  What a bad doodle mom.  I always said I would never let the dogs take a backseat to the kids but look what's happened now.  Ugh.  To make up for it, she got a big Zuke dental chew and lots of toppings (beans and carrots) on her food that night.  I felt so guilty I took three dogs (we were keeping my parents' terrier) on a walk with Charlotte in the baby carrier.  That was a sight to be held!

 

But really, Peri's been a delight for us - she's such a loving dood and is the best with Baby Charlotte, who turns 7 months soon. Where does time go?

Thanks everyone ;)  I am trying to enjoy every minute - with baby and dogs both!  Time flies. I was looking at sweet Tacky's graying face this morning remembering when I got him almost 9 years ago!

Allyson, If you forget Charlotte's birthday, we'd all come get you, but forgetting Peri's birthday is OK. I bet she didn't even remember it herself! Charlotte is absolutely adorable, by the way!

First of all, Charlotte is soooo beautiful...and I can't believe how much she has grown.   Don't worry about forgetting Lady Peri's birthday....I figure if I get the month right with my guys I'm doing well.  They don't even know...and to be honest it's like every day is their birthday anyway.  LOL.

Allyson, The good thing about a dog....they don't even know it is their birthday :) I am sure Peri has forgiven you. Charlotte is beautiful and it looks like she already has a best friend.  Happy Birthday, Lady Peri!!

Charlotte is adorable!!  This is when the fun really begins.  My Grand Daughter just turned 1 on Easter Sunday and it is absolutely amazing how quickly time flies!  Enjoy every moment of it because it is gone before you know it.  I'm sure Peri is not upset.  She looks like she probably forgot as well since she seems to be guarding Charlotte and acting as her protector and best buddy!  Happy Birthday Peri!!

Don't feel bad, it happens to all of us at one time or another!  You are a very busy Mom and I'm sure Peri is ok and knows he is loved!  Charlotte is adorable and getting so big!  Love the picture in the hat, lots of personality in Charlotte:)
