[Nicky, Riley & Boris]

Every day I learn something new about Riley and today was no exception.  As I sat on the couch relaxing after Supper I decided I would like a Doodle cuddle.  Riley was lying on the floor and I invited him to come up onto the couch but he decided he preferred the floor.  So I pretended to cry.  I put my head in my hands and did a very good interpretation of a sobbing woman.  It only took seconds and he was up and on my lap, all 45l bs of him smothering me in licks and wrapping his paws around my neck.  I felt really pretty mean as he really believed I was sad.  I feel awful fooling him like that but one thing's for sure, Riley is a true love bug and should I ever really need some Doodle cuddles I know he will be right there to give them to me.

Ahhhh...sweet Riley!  I'll have to try this.  After all, if you need doodle cuddles, you do what you have to do to get them.  LOL  Can't believe that little guy has grown to 45 lbs!  Wow!

hhmmm, that's interesting because I cried for real once and Sophie just looked at me like I was weird. I think she didn't know how to react in a situation that wasn't all about her...

I can't believe he is 45 lbs already.  It seems just yesterday, you made that crazy journey to get him and he was just a little bitty thing lol  They sure do grow up fast.  I have to admit Nicky, I pull the crying stunt on my doodles sometimes to get much needed cuddles. And let me tell you, it works every time too.  :)

OMG!  Little, baby Riley is now 45 lbs?!  How did that happen?  Where is time going?!  Also - don't feel awful.  When we need a doodle cuddle, we NEED a doodle cuddle and all's fair...
