Dog Birthday Wrap

Thank you all for your wonderful birthday wishes. It was a typical day--no not really, I went to work, we ate leftovers, I had my first hangover in many years, and my son was in a horrible car crash, my dog decided it was time to blow his puppy coat and mat beyond repair --I turned 50! I loved my 30's and 40's. Please keep me suspended in time.

Back to the birthday. My Spud will not leave my clothes alone. I have 2 pairs of underwear left. I chase my bra every morning, Tell that to the boss when you are late to many times a week. Yesterday , he does his typical 'run from the bedroom to the living room and shake whatever he got into. Chase me if you can I have your underwear again'. UGH. Retrievers

As usual I jump up and chase him down to retrieve--A POOP BAG. Oh no, how did he get this and OMG what the hell is in this bag??!! Inside was a note, sorry Mom, here's some new underwear. Happy Birthday, I love you, Spud :)

Thanks to you all for the wonderful birthday wishes. The topic was suppose to be POOP BAG WRAP but I received so many responses about my son's accident I thought I would update that topic too.

Thank you all for asking. I am so used to this after having boys that I added to my blog as a typical day occurrence. He is fine. Remarkable that once again, he made it out of one of these car crushing, car -totaling accidents. He is Cranky. His chief complaint--he has poison ivy too.

So sorry to hear about your son, hope all goes well for him. Look at it this way, at least you know the crash didn't damage his short term memory, he remembered how important his lifelines were (ipod, phone) LOL.

Don't feel bad about Spud - look at it this way, he was trying to keep you young by getting you to chase him! For my birthday this morning, Fozzy peed on my bed! (I hope he wasn't trying to tell me something!) Lucky me! I will be spending part of my evening in a fabulous laundromat!!! Yipee.....(ugh)

This is son's 8474765839129 accident. Fifth concussion. He is still asleep. Never wake a concussion--the medical world changed those rules long ago. It is now, never wake a sleeping dog or sleeping son with concussion--They are real mean. :) His biggest concern--his cell phone and ipod that were in his pocket are smashed and ruined..........hmmmm are those a young mans priorities or did he loose more brain cells???

Sounds like a few days I've had. I hope your son is ok...and recovers well! Your Doodle is beautifly! Happy birthday! Some days my babies make me feel young--then other days they make me feel a whole lot older!!! :)
