Doodle Love

This may be a bit of a ramble but here goes. It does my heart good to see all the beautiful doodles getting new forever homes and great foster moms. That's a lot of happiness being spread around. I know why we love our doodles but is amazing the affect they have on others. I have noticed that when Quincy and I are out walking he makes people smile just by seeing him. When people drive by you can see them point and smile. We are constantly stopped and folks tell Quincy how beautiful he is and what a good boy he is. He is very gentle with everyone and doesn't bark at anyone or other dogs. He prances when he walks and we have even been asked if he is a show dog. He is such a goof and his personality just shines through. He has little quirky things that he does that makes me smile. When we come in the door he is so excited that his behind wags wildly and he doen't quite know what to do so he grabs the nearest shoe to give you. When he is tired at night instead of laying down to sleep where you are, he barks to go to bed. When you ask him "Do you want to go to bed?" he races up the stairs to the bedroom and flops on the floor at the foot of the bed. A few times he has even given up and gone to bed by himself. As you can probably tell I love my doodle. If I forget and leave my purse open he gets in and steals any peice of paper he can find. One day it was an envelope with more than two hundred dollars that I was holding for a work function, now that would have been an expensive snack. Couldn't not love him even if I tried. Love him even on those days when I spend half my time taking things from him that he steals when I am not looking. Sorry this is a bit long but if you are still reading, thanks.

We just got back from a nice long walk and now he is flaked out on the couch beside me. Life is good.

Thank you, thank you Nancy! But, it was your beautiful new boy who was the show stopper today!!! He is just sooo beautiful...yes, beautiful even if he is a boy!!! I enjoyed having the two Doodles together today and Gracie being the first to meet NN!

When I have Ned by himself I don't get that much notice, but today when I had my new doodle out in public, I couldn't get anywhere without being stopped. Of course we were with the wonderful Graciedoodle Casey - what a show stopper she is.

You are so right Donna. We get the same type of reaction from people when they meet Gus and Lilly the first time. Their our pride and joy.

Our doodles are very special and kind doggie souls.... I get asked about my Shelby nearly everytime we encounter people on our walks. Just yesterday - I had a woman drive past us, turn around and come back to ask me about Shelby! Our doodles bring love, joy and laughter in to our hearts!

DITTO! sometimes I feel like I have my hand in his mouth way to many times. By the way Achilles has the same cute behind wiggle. He just makes me laugh!
