DWF (Doodle Wrestling Federation)

Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to a special competition of the DWF (Doodle Wrestling Federation).

 

In one corner weighing in at 22lbs is Cubbie “The Peanut” doodle.  He might be the smaller competitor but he light on his feet and uses his speed to his advantage.

 

In the other corner we have Ollie “Big Head” doodle weighing in at 29lbs.  He has the size advantage but will that be enough?  We definitely have an exciting match coming up folks!!

 

 

Competitors, bow to your opponent…wait, wait, I said bow, I didn’t say start wrestling yet!!  Wait!!  Oh whatever…..

 

 

Look at Cubbie go.  He is bobbing.  He is weaving.  He is….he is….ummm…I’m not sure what he is doing right now.  I’ve never seen this move before, it must be something that he has been saving for this big match. 

 

Oh no, now Ollie is breaking out his classic “throw myself down and attack my opponent’s legs move”  Oh wow, now they have moved onto boxing.  I just can’t believe the variety of moves we are seeing here today.  The execution is just incredible.  They are moving with such precision and grace. 

 

Looks like the competitors are beginning to experience some fatigue….they have moved on to the less taxing ear pulling and face chewing.  I am not sure if a winner will emerge this round; they seem to be just chewing on each other...hmmmmm

 

 

Wait!!  The competitors are circling each other again.  Wow!!!  I can’t believe what I am seeing.  Ladies and gentlemen, the competitors have left the ring.  I repeat, They  have Left the Ring!!  This is something completely unusual.  I’ll have to check the rule book and see if this is even allowed.  Forget the rule book!!!  This madness is exhilarating. 

  

 

Oooooh, I spoke too soon.  Looks like they are both down for the count. 

I’m sorry fans, it doesn’t look like we will be able to crown a champion today, but tune in next time to see if a victor will emerge. 

 

 

Yeah, so Cubbie and Ollie DWF after every meal and then occasionally in between.  If you are sitting on the couch or laying in the bed (like at 7am on a Saturday) they will DWF around you or over you.  It doesn’t matter to them.  And you better not be walking down the hallway when they come charging by.  When you hear the steady rhythm of little doodle feet, you just better get out of the way.  Your safety depends on it!!  But at least they have stopped the real fighting!!

Great Blog! Love the descriptions. Why is it they wrestle like mad dogs right after a meal? Ours do it too. They are 82 and 72 pounds.

This is hilarious. Perhaps as an expert DWF observer you can explain something to me, because I notice that the dogs at the dog park do this too--even though they have acres to run around and play in, when they wrestle they have to do RIGHT ON TOP OF PEOPLE. What's up with that?
