Yep....that's me Ellie.....yep.....I had to get my hair shaved off again.....Mom has the hardest time keeping the knots out of my hair...and I of course have the hardest time standing still for her. I really think she is going to start putting me on a table so I can't squirm around. If she figures out setting up an area in the basement to groom me and Wheezy would be perfect.....Wheezy and me won't be happy!!

Mom has been so busy lately......she had her 35th class reunion last weekend.....I didn't realize she was that old!!! She doesn't act that old.....only when she gets out of bed.....her feet and legs don't bend and she walks like a mummy.....hahaha....my mommy walks like a mummy.

Mom took us to Ed's Wednesday....our groomer......Mom was going to try and not take us every month....but as you can see....that plan won't work!!! So Wheezy and me will be going once a month forever!!! Actually we have a good time......Ed always brags on me how good I am and Wheezy was good this time too....only she went pee on Ed's grooming table 2 times and Ed told mom....no water for Wheezy 8 hour prior to her grooming. Wheezy pees when she is scared or excited......not that much.....the vet said she will out grow out it...Ed said she will too....I can tell mom is concerned. She worries.

Here is Wheezy after we got home from Ed's. Isn't she cute?....I just love her.....she isn't 5 months yet.....she still has her fine doodle puppy fuzziness.....but her new hair looks really curly that's coming in. Ed told my mom it takes 4 years to get a complete adult dog coat....wow...long time huh?

I felt sorry for mom Wednesday....she was living a nightmare......Ed had called mom after she dropped us off...and he told her that my hair was so bad he had to cut it down again.....Mom said ok....it would have been too hard on me to de-tangle it.....so a few hours later when mom picked us up.....I could tell she was a little shocked when she looked at me. Ed had left all the hair on my head...so I had a huge head, a skinny body and a big fluffy tail.....I looked like a poodle but worse!!! *giggle* (When dad got home that day....he took me back and had Ed trim all the hair off my head...whew....I looked like a dork!!!) Poodles are ok....but we would rather look like a doodle.

Anyway......mom had just put in a 12 hour shift.....came home...got me and Wheezy..dropped us off at Ed's......went back home...took a shower.....feel asleep.....then Ed called her a couple hours later to come get us.

Well, seeing me is where her nightmare began.....she was just so tired....Ed followed us to the car......mom put us in and shut the door........Ed and her talked a few....and when she tried to get in her car......OMG.......LOCKED!!! LOCKED!!! THE DOORS WAS LOCKED!!!! HOW DID THAT HAPPEN?!!! UNLESS WHEEZY STEPPED ON IT WHEN SHE TRIED TO GET IN THE FRONT!!! I KNOW I DIDN'T DO IT!!! OMG....NEVER AGAIN IN MOM'S LIFE TIME WILL SHE PUT HER KEYS ON THE FRONT SEAT!!! OMG!! I COULD SEE THE LOOK OF TERROR IN HER EYES!!! AND TOTAL FRUSTRATION!!!

Ed....and mom kept trying all the doors....it was useless....Ed said he would take mom home to get another set of keys.....but I just couldn't believe they took off.....that's a 9 mile drive both ways.

Me and Wheezy was tired of being caged in the back of mom's car.....even though mom keeps the seats out....put total carpet in....we have flip chips....pillows, blankets and toys......we really have it made...but we wanted in the front seat. So between the two of us...we wedged around the barrier and we both got in the front seat......by the time Mom and Ed got back.....we had dog slobber all over the windows.....and then mom about fell over!!!....She has an automatic car starter on her key chain.....so in the winter time...she pushes the button 2 times and her car starts and is warmed up by the time she leaves for work.....or gets in her car when she gets off work......well.....one of us....probably Wheezy had pushed that button 2 times.....AND MOM'S CAR WAS RUNNING!!!! SHE WAS SOOOO EMBARRASSED. Not only was she embarrassed that she locked her keys in her car with us in it....but when they got back....we had the car running!!! LOL......we can't get it into gear....we would need fingers to push the button in to go into gear.....whew......Wheezy might have run us through Ed's house!!!!

Me and Wheezy thought it was pretty neat.....when "she" started the car.....the air conditioner came on.......we love the air conditioner. *giggle*

Mom couldn't wait to get home...I could tell...she didn't talk to us all the way home like she usually does.....as soon as we got home....we went to bed.....I don't think mom could deal with my punk rock hair do!!! funny huh? Dad dealt with it when he got home.....fun for me....I got to go bye bye two times!!

Look....Mom bought us some clown stuff....Wheezy hasn't tried hers on yet. Don't I look goofy?

Have you ever seen a dog sit like this?.....I'm silly sometimes.

Mom got us a new double lead....we are all in training....mom thinks it will be easier for her to take us to the groomer....we think so too...if only Wheezy would stop trying to chew on it.

We look like a little team of horses....Mom thinks it's cute.

Not much else going on........oh, except I had to go to the vet Thursday and get my 1 year booster, rabies and some of that kennel cough stuff they put up your nose.

We get to go the the little dog park by the golf course a lot.......we love it......

Does this park make my butt look big? LOL

That's it for now....Mom helped me write this and she needs to go do some laundry and run the sweeper....she has to go to work tonight. Her and dad took Thursday and Friday off work to work in the yard and get things ready for winter. I can't wait to see it snow!!! Wheezy will love it.!!!

I think it's kind of cute to...and...I'm going to look just like you...very soon...because...I went through my coat change...and then I liked to take every opportunity I could...to go into the lake...even when my Mom said...NO Sasha!!
Oh well...I think that means I am going to have to get a VERY close shave...to say the least!!
At least that is what my Mom is saying...
She has been working Very Hard...trying to get the Mats out of my coat...for a VERY long time...But to NO avail!!
So...she is making an appointment for me to go to a Groomer...to...get...Whatever Needs To Be Done...WHATEVER THAT MEANS!!!

Anyway...if I look like you...I will be a happy Doodle...because...you are REALLY beautiful!!
My Mom says...it will always grow back...

Sometimes...I'm not sure what she means...
But...most of the time...I am so Very Smart...I do know what she means...so...I feel like I'm "Somewhat" in control!!
That's kind of a good Doodle feeling...Lol...

Darwins comment....oh my gosh!!! Your dad left his car running for 3 hours!! That could be my mom...she left the dish water running and went to the basement to put a load of laundry in the washer one day.....totally forgot about the dish water!!! The kitchen counter was soaked....and it was running on the floor!!! I worry about her!!

Wow, that sounds like a crazy day. One time, my mom decided to try to cut my hair with scissors. I looked like a total dork! I didn't even want to show my face for a month! You look a lot better than that. And your mom shouldn't feel too bad about locking the keys in. My dad locked the keys in the car while it was RUNNING but didn't even notice. They went in to a 3 hour movie, came out, and saw the car running and locked. They had no idea! Luckily I wasn't in there, so it wasn't my fault! I'm just glad you guys didn't put the car in gear and drive away! - Darwin

Hi Guinness....I are glad your mom enjoyed my blog.....our mom's must really love us to go through some of the stuff we put them through.....trust me....mom won't leave her keys around me a Wheezy anymore!!! We like the shorter hair cuts too.....I think mom is going to keep it shorter....she just doesn't have the time to brush us like she should~ Have a great week!!!
