I finally made it back to Doodle Kisses.....it's so hard to work and keep up on social sites........Today I devoted to being lazy and sitting in my computer chair.....  :)

 

Ellie and Wheezy are doing great!!! 

 

We had to get Wheezy's coat shaved off in December...she had so many matts....Ellie's coat has grown out again and I am doing so much better keeping them brushed.  We found a new groomer for them and I just love how she cut Ellie.....they have an appointment again March 5th.

 

Here are a few pictures of them......I crashed my other computer....so these are the most recent.....I did get most of my pictures saved to another hard drive before my other computer crashed.....whew!!

 

 

 

 

 

If you remember us back about 5 months ago.....we had a very bad experience when we picked up wheezy......and she had very bad gum infection and a very sick little puppy....she didn't breath well and that's how we named her Wheezy.......well.......after many trips to the vet...and lots of medicine....we nursed her back to health.......

 

In December we found a new groomer and she used to work for a vet....and I told her the story on how sick Wheezy was and I haven't messed with her mouth for a while or even looked at her gums....she had been through so much I let her have some peace.......so the groomer said.....I will check her out when I shave her.

 

Well......when we picked her up the groomer looked at me funny and I go.....there is something wrong isn't there....and she said...well....yes....the top of Wheezy's mouth stopped growing and she doesn't have very many teeth!!!     Oh my gosh!!!  Poor Wheezy's mouth is deformed.....but you know what?.....she does just fine!!!

I took her to the vet that week to get a growth cut off her foot that the groomer found and the vet couldn't believe it........the top part of Wheezy's mouth was only half as long as the bottom...but her nose and snout had kept growing!!!  ........so her nose hangs down a little....it always looks like she is smiling....  :)    It makes her special!!

 

Here is a little video I took of them playing this morning.......Ellie and Wheezy are the sweetest doodles......we love them to pieces........they play so quiet.........but when they get their running spells....they sound like little ponies trotting through the house!!!

It was so good to hear how Ellie and Wheezy are doing!

I'm sorry to hear about the the problems Wheezy is having...but am happy that she is doing better now.

Love her "always" smile...she sure is such a "cutie"...and Very special!

The groomer did a great job with her cut..and left lots of her beautiful coat!

It was great to hear from you again.  I was just thinking about you all and was thinking we hadn't heard from you in a while.  I remember all your posts when you first got Wheezy.  Loved the video.  They really do play quietly don't they?  Wheezy is adorable.  You don't even notice her mouth but now that you mentioned it I did see the little smile that she always has!  Very unique and both the girls are so cute.  Glad you got us all caught up!  Don't be a stranger!  Happy Valentine's Day to all!

Aww, I am new to the site but your dood's are so cute. I am curious about Wheezy. Did you rescue her? If she came from a breeder, what did the breeder say. I am so glad she is doing so well, you are right, she is special. I  am happy she has such a loving  home and looks so happy..
