Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
Today we decided to head up into Logan Canyon, a very pretty place a few minutes from where we live. It has special meaning to us, DH proposed to me there and we visited it every chance we got. This time I thought I'd try to get some nice photos of Darwin there, since it's so shady and nice. Darwin would also enjoy being outside and exploring.
Darwin has been busy practicing obedience and has been doing wonderful! We found a really nice open space to practice stays, recalls and just let him blow off steam in general and it's been awesome. He has been doing so well posing for photos since we've started upping our training routine. I got this adorable one of him last week, on the University campus. I was so proud of him for holding still. :-)
Once we got to the campground he was doing really well, posing wonderfully.
Then, his perky little ears picked up something ours couldn't. Bubbling water. I'm sure you can see where this is going. :-)
Just like that, our fluffy, clean, adorable doodle turned into a filthy wet adorable doodle. But how could we get upset when he was so happy?
The rest of the photos went something like this
And of course a lot of this. My poor camera needs a good cleaning.
All in all a good day for all of us, especially our silly pup (until he had his bath that is). Darwin is such a hilarious goof, he keeps life fun. This is my favorite shot from the day, it shows his personality perfectly!

Wonderful series, Camilla!
Darwin and the photos are gorgeous--and so much fun!
Hahaha... I know what you mean Camilla. We took Kona and Owen to the beach on Saturday. They slept all day Sunday and Monday. Fetching balls in the surf is hard work! Then they had to stay awake the rest of the whole day because we were at my BIL's house and new territory demanded vigilance. Such hard work. I can see how Darwin would get weary with all of that mud-slinging. ;o)
Thanks everyone! He must have gotten all his zoomies out because for the past two days, he has been totally pooped. :-)
What great pictures...keep them coming they are terrific.
Darwin is so photogenic. I see some calendar contenders here :)
Darwin is one of THE most gorgeous doods!
Wow your photos are fantastic (as always). Darwin seems to be adjusting well to the new 'hood!
Sounds like the perfect day in the perfect place, and it looks like Darwin had a ball! I love all the photos, but IMO, that first one is Calender Cover material. :)
That last shot is my favorite also. I just love how happy he looks.
LOL, there is an eternal attraction between white fluffy doodles and muddy waters.
