Family update...

Thank you all for all your congrats and kind messages =) We are indeed overjoyed and loving Natalie SO MUCH--it's amazing how much you can love someone you just met =)

Some of you have asked how we are doing and how the furry kids are taking to Natalie.
We came home yesterday afternoon. So far so good...and tired...but so in love with this little bundle the tired part isn't overtaking us YET!

The dogs responded EXACTLY as we expected:

Cass--sniffed a bit then was mostly indifferent.

Rosco--sniffed with much more vigor and is interested but not bothersome.

Thule--well let's just say she wishes SHE was the mommy. She went nuts with excitement and for now she's driving me a bit nuts and I'm anxiously anticipating the day she stops whining and whistling while she can't reach the baby--I'm sure that day will come soon. I don't mind a lick, but she needs to be more CHILL about it =)

Natalie is such a pretty baby! With that beautiful face, she doesn't look like typical newborns with a squishy faces. I wonder what Clarke has in mind for her suitors. Tell him he can't start too soon. LOL!

Natalie is an exceptionally beautiful baby. She really is. Skip and I are so happy for you and Clark. I appreciate your sharing with us. So many of us feel like aunts, uncles, grandmas, grandpas because you have stolen our hearts. Poor Thule - just give her her own baby doll already! That is always the advice given for the bigger sister.
