Forgive me for bragging!
Tonight I am going to my youngest son's high school to watch his last musical as a high school student. He and his best friend are the male leads. I am a bit sad, he has had such a great experience. However I am filled with such pride. Their director asked my middle son to write the play (He has written plays for the school before, while he was a student, for small events but never the spring musical). My youngest the senior wrote all the lyrics and his best friend wrote the music. I am nervous and excited and can't wait! The only down side to all this is I will not be at Yappy hour until late, if anyone is still awake!

Congrats to you and of course your boys. There's something wonderful about sitting in an audience and watching your Children shine. Thrilling... BTW it's perfectly ok to brag amongst friends.

Anna, I'd be "balling my eyes out". Last year my daughter got the Teacher of the Year award for her town, and I sat in the audience sobbing. It was quite humiliating for the rest of the family. This was the daughter that I never thought we'd EVER get through college, so it was particularly moving. LOL Congrats again.

Update!!!!! It was so incredible!!! The entire cast did such a great job. So weird to see and hear my sons personalities come shinning through on stage. I started to cry during one of his solos. I will be taking some pictures at today"s show. Thanks for all your lovely comments!
