Fudge and Vern's New Favorite Toy!

Our dogs have the biggest basket full of toys in our living room. Vern loves to pull the toys out and put them all over the house. Fudge is more selective, but usually likes the toy she thinks will catch Vern's attention for a good chase. Today, I had to take the cat to the vet and left the carrier out in our foyer. Mind you, the cat was not in the carrier or they would have liked it even better. All day, they would not leave that carrier alone. First, Vern tried to get in it...think Winnie the Pooh stuck in the Honey Tree. Next, Fudge would open and close the door with her paw and a couple of times they both tried to stick their heads in at the same time. Vern figured out he could push it around and then they both got so excited they would start to wrestle. I am posting some pictures in case anyone wants to run out and buy this great new toy for their dog.

My two like cereal boxes, oatmeal containers, and milk cartons....plus, now I can add a cat crate to the list. Today, they shredded a $15 toy in 5 minutes, playing tug of war. They left the toy in 4 pieces. Gracie is Vern's kind of girl.

Gracie's most favorite toys are the cardboard boxes that I bring things home from CostCo in.  I put them outside the back door to carry to the trash.  Gracie very casually picks them up and carries them out to the back lawn.  Gathers some of her toys and puts them in the box and then pulls them out and then pushes them around inside the box and then lays down and shreds the box!!!!    I'm surprised Vern or Fudge didn't get their head stuck in the crate!  Very cute!

Oh Jack is right there with you.. I lent my neighbor the tiny crate Jack came in when we got him for her cat. When she brought it back, Jack went ape for it. It was so cute. I so wish I could rent him a kitty for his birthday!!!
