Goodbye Sweet Maddie

It's with the heaviest of hearts that I tell everyone on DK that our wonderful Dalmatian, Maddie is gone.  We had the worst week of all time, ending in Friday where we held her as she took her last breaths.  The vet had informed us she likely had a brain tumor, which was what had caused her and us the agony over the last month or so.  She had a wonderful 13.5 years on this earth and taught me what it was like to love a dog.  I could never forget her and all the wonderful times we had together.  Thank heavens for my sweet doodle pup, Harper, who literally kisses my tears away.

So sorry - typing with tears in my eyes - you had 13 1/2 wonderful years with her and it hurts so much when you have to say goodbye. Treasure the memories.
