Our Buddy celebrates his 7th Birthday this month! He brings a smile to everyone he meets. The girls through the drivethru ask if he is a human in a dog suite :P He has matured from a bratty little Butthead to a Beautiful well behaved (still has flashback moments) oh so special best friend. We've trained and passed theTherapy dog testing, he holds an AKC Rally E obedience title, and we are moving on to K9 Knosework, just passed our first class. For anyone thinking if their puppy will EVER grow up, just remember, our love, encouragement, patience and time can tame the savage beast, Buddy is our example. The Collage is from a couple of weeks ago visiting Northern NV visiting my parents. He adores their backyard and the Marina dogpark.

Happy Birthday Buddy, you are such a good boy. It's amazing how they Mature but it's even better that they still can be puppy like at 7
Happy birthday, Buddy!
Happy Birthday Buddy Boy!
Happy Birthday, Buddy! :-)
I'm looking forward to reading that!
I'll have to check out her blog. Once we get a little further into it, I'll start a series of blogs. You need very little obedience training for this work, and each dog is crated until it is their turn to work. What dog doesn't enjoy searching for food??? My understanding is once they move up to smelling other odors they still will always be rewarded with treats, even when competing. Hmm, maybe I'll start the Beginning blog soon, there is a great story I want to tell about a very shy/frightened dog that has just blossomed from this class.
I know Jane had Guinness in a "nose work" class and he did very well with it. I think she has a blog about it, it really sounded like fun! I hope you'll post about it, too.
Oh, Buddy, what a beautiful doodle you are! I love the pics! I hope you had a fabulous birthday!
Aw, thanks Karen. I bet there are more doodles with Titles in the Agility group at least. It has been a while now that we've been able to compete with our mixes in Obedience and Agilitly.
I'm looking forward to Kona's first class in the K9nosework. Buddy was excellent as I expected, but Kona surprised me, on the day we got to try her out in the class situation on a makeup day. I had only been training her at home, she did really well.
