Happy Jack, Two years ago tomorrow!!!

Dear Jack Daniels.

Tomorrow is your GOTCHA DAY.. I have had you  for two entire years.. Somehow it feels like you have always been in my life, I don't remember what I did before you. I know my grass was greener outside and I know my freezer didn't have dog ice cream or marrow bones in it. I certainly didn't have a million dog toys. Other then that, I don't remember. I have no idea what your Auntie Susan and I ever talked about for the 14 years before you and Sasha came in our lives because that is the ONLY thing we talk about now!!!!

 

Some people think it is a bit much the extremes I take with you, but anyone who knows me, knows I am a very grateful person to anyone who even comes close to being kind and loving to me, I always feel so indebted to them, how could I not feel so indebted to you. I don't know anybody who sits by my side for hours a day while I do breathing treatments.  You are patient, kind and loyal.  I always feel like I have a focus because I am able to think of you instead of me.

Your very presence soothes me and makes me happy. You know I don't even care that you come lick my face with a big sloppy kiss when you have to go potty. I have grown use to dog saliva on my face, something that would have made me throw up before I met you.

 

It is funny because today on the main page, the song that is playing is "happy Jack" At exactly 6 38 pm tomorrow evening, My Mr, Happy Jack walked into my life two years ago!!!!

 

Happy Gotcha Day Jack, Thank you for being the sweet green male dog that made me Happy Jack's mommy.
