It reminded me of the instant nail polish remover in the jar. It works but the good old way works better!

Interesting. But I just use a towel. And runners on my back screened porch.

Interesting timing, just saw this in the orvis catalog last night! I did give it some consideration as well. Only time I would really need it is when it snows as I need a way to get all those clumps off of their feet. Last year I just used a pan of luke warm water and then dried them all and sent them to their room till they were mostly dry. Think I'll just continue with that method (although I must admit I'm really not looking forward to it).

I agree, wouldn't do it. Eight paws to deal with in that gizmo, I don't think so. I think the dogs wouldn't like it to boot (punny). I've had ideas about having the dogs have to walk through a pan of water but haven't tried it. Right now rug runners leading to the garage steps and then a wipe with a towel is the best I can manage. I saw mitt-like towels for paw drying and they also seemed as if they'd be more of a hindrance than a help.

Obviously I wouldn't spend the money when I already use a bucket of soapy water. It's the same thing. My dogs freak out when I put their feet in the bucket, can you imagine if I tried that thing!

Dont think I would, could make your own with a plastic coffee can, and as they pointed out, you still need to use a towel to dry them off, and I didn't see them rinse the soap off their dogs paws so I would think if their dogs lick their paws...they are getting some soap residue. Looks like a great product but in the end it would wind up being a waster here.
