Help. I Was CarJacked! Another way to say PETRIFIED

Last Thursday as I sat alone in my car in an empty parking lot. I left the rear car door open for a breeze to pass through. You know the type of car--great power windows and only one window will roll down.

Okay, so I am sitting there listening to the radio and reading a book when I felt my car move around like someone had gotten into my back seat. PETRIFIED! I couldn't move.

Heavy breathing. Oh Gawd, shut my eyes and hold my breath. Think quick. I just can't move.

Finally I have the nerve to peek up into the rear view mirror. He is wearing a yellow construction vest. Then I see a big black face. An old white Beard. Long long tongue hanging down. His big brown eyes just looking back at me in the mirror.

His tags say Coach.

Just the biggest old old Black Lab!!

His owners were working in the area as landscapers trimming trees when he decided to jump out of his truck and come sit with me. We had a great 45 minute visit. We talked about the local news, health care reform, good music, and home cooked dog treats. I promised him some homemade dog cookies from home for the next visit.

He went off in his truck to the next job.

ROFL...I was so scared for you as I read it! Great story! Phew! Did you ever chat with the owners and tell them what happened?

I do have a several pictures in my cell phone. I have NO idea how to get it out and transferred here. I killed the internet option several years ago when my kids texted my bill into six figures!

Needless to say, he had no answers to health-care reform, but his ears perked up when I said cookies.

What a great blog! I went through a gamut of emotions, and now I'm smiling! You definitely have talent!
What a shame you didn't get a photo of your "car-jacker"!

You scared the BeJesus our of me! I can only imagine what you must have felt like! And then to see Coach... Talk about being bitter sweet! But it still probably would have taken 15 years off of my life... :-)

Thank God it was only a dog...and not a bear or otherwise, just a few weeks ago in Allentown PA they actually had a bear in the city.

Me too, I was freaking. You shouldn't sit alone in an empty parking lot anyways. Good thing it was a nice visitor.

I can not imagine. I would have had a heart attack right there.

You know!! You scared the poop out of me!! With all of the phone calls the last 24 hours and you didn't TELL me? OMG!!! Then of course, I chuckled (not laughed since you aged me with that).
