Holly went to the beauty parlor today...

Holly's groomer called to say that she had a cancellation which opened a spot for Holly today. After her trip to the beauty parlor, we took her to the Bates Nut Farm Pumpkin Patch in Valley Center, CA to shoot some pictures which I posted tonight.

Holly looks adorable both ways. I am like you I like the long and wavy look, but the grooming, especially on my very curly doodle is too difficult. He hates it. My chocolate's coat looks more like Holly's and and can make it to about 4 inches or so and then becomes impossible. Neither of them shed though, so I guess I can put up with the occasional shave!

one last thing - the grooming sessions are horrid aren't they?
we love our Holly long and curly - but boy or boy - does she get matted and then she has to get shaved like a poodle? I told my husband, we got 2 dogs for the price of :)
