No, not together!  Individually, both of these substances seem to have beneficial properties...

This is just an idea...  Please don't take my word for this, do some Internet investigation on your own...

Honey, dissolved in warm water with a splash of lemon juice is said to be helpful for the cough of bortadella or kennel cough.  I use honey and lemon when I have a cough or sore throat.  This doesn't cure the bortadella, it simply soothes the through and reduces the hacking cough.

Coconut Oil - Virgin Coconut Oil appears to have quite a few beneficial properties.  The big caveat is to introduce the coconut oil into the dogs diet very slowly.

I would investigate the Internet regarding honey and lemon as well as coconut oil.  As with any Internet research, be sure that you are aware of the origins of any information geaned from the Net.

Additionally, query your vet regarding anything you feed your dog...

I can't see how some honey and lemon could hurt a dog except for the extra calories in honey...

I also use honey and lemon for a sore throat or cough. Never thought of this for my doodle but luckily he has never had a cough.
