Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum

Dan came home from work tonight and he had stopped by one of our friends home. They have a black labradoodle named Max... I'm sure you remember him from a past blog post. Well, these friends of ours just recently got a little black poodle named Charlie who looks exactly like Max so of course Dan had to go see him. ANYWAYS... Tim made a comment to Dan about how big Remington was and how old he is right now. Dan told him that Remington is 6 months old and about 50 lbs. Tim then says, OMG Max was only 35 lbs at 6 months!

Now, this shocks me because Mr. Max is a huge dog... !!! I can't imagine Remington being bigger than that. It should be pretty interesting to see just how big our Remington Bear will get! Any guesses????

Fozzy has a brother from the same litter that weighed in at 74 lbs at 8 mos. So, he will probably be a little bigger than Remington! Just more to love! ;-)

I didn't have Honey till she was 6mos. old and she weighed 27lbs at her first vet visit, so I estimate she was about 22 to 23lbs at 4mos. old. I'm lucky if she hits 35lbs at a year old, and with your figures should have been around 45 to 55lbs. She feels like a little tank now..lol, can't imagine her weighing anymore....Remington is going to be a big Doodle at that rate...lol

Take his weight at four months, double it and add 5-10 lbs. My Fozzy was around 27 lbs at 4 months and 47 lbs.at 8 mos.
