I'm a big girl now! 3 years old today!

My mom tells  me I'm  growing up fast and becoming an awesome doodle. Now don't get me wrong, I still have lots to learn and issues we are continuing to work on. I do know how to sit, lie down, stay, shake,  dance, catch  balls and fetch I also know how to  wait, come, drop it, leave it, and come(most of the time). We spent lots of time at the dog park this year and had many new other adventures.

This year  I got to open my own Christmas presents and was that ever fun. I  was allowed to shred the paper without being told to stop. At first, it took a while to get to the toy, but I soon learned to get the toy in one or two rips!  Guess who got to clean the mess up? Yep, my mom. I really had fun pouncing on the papers as she was on her hands and knees picking them up. It was a great Christmas morning for both of us!

 

We met lots of new friends on our daily walks and at the dog park this year. I even have a new boyfriend, named Cocoa. He is a standard poodle and I think I am in love...My best friend at the dog park is a border collie named Tia and  she is the only dog that I don't mind  sharing catching balls with.

We even met up with some friends from DK and I met lots of awesome doodles and  their human parents. I learned how to dig holes in the mud at the park we went to and my mom was not too happy with about the digging. The ground at the local park is way too hard to dig in so this was fun fun fun!

My mom did not like my handiwork n the house so for the past few months she has been busy with decorating some parts of the house. That is why she has not been on DK for a while. She had the front rooms painted and put in new carpet in the living room. She ordered new furniture too. I must admit, I chewed holes in the sofa, loveseat, and their cushions. Then I ate part of the carpet and area rugs. I won't mention the other things I chewed through the years. \

The  biggest change in the house is that my mom took down the 12 foot  pet gate that kept me separated from my brother, the parrot. I don't bother the bird,  but I do love to pick up the food he drops!

I have also become the snuggle bug that my mom always wanted and I even learned how to chill. My mom says  I am the best thing that ever happened to her and that I have brought so much fun and joy to her life. She tells me I am a keeper!
