I'm getting 11 dogs for my birthday

Not really, yes tomorrow is my 75th B-day and yes, we are getting 11-dogs. But, we won't have them with us permanently.

Maltese Rescue California is on a list of rescues who will get dogs from breeders when the breeders are over their allotted number of dogs or if the breeder is not up to Animal Control standards.  Animal control would rather have the breeder turn the dogs over to a rescue, like us, than confiscate the dogs and try to have them adopted from the shelter.

Judy is driving up to the Los Angeles area and is bringing back eleven dogs (Yorkies and Maltese).  We will have the dogs overnight and Judy will clean and groom them and I will shoot their rescue pictures.  We will then start bringing them to our vet, several at a time for spaying (these are all females) and our fosters will pick the girls up from the vet.  I expect that we will have the majority of the dogs only a couple of days...
