I need patience!

Well we need patience in my house.  We all including my other dog Ping miss having a second dog in the house.  Our puppy is not even born yet.  I know it gives us time to prepare but I am excited.  We have been thinking of names and so far we are not agreed on any of them.  I am sure when we meet this dog it will name itself.  This is a picture of Ping the big brother to be.

I love older dogs.  I think the gray hairs in their face remind me of the gray hairs on my head!  But he does have a challenge coming with a new puppy.  He will help you train the new puppy and it will be a welcome change in his life.  We have always had two dogs (or least the last ten years) since my son's shepherd died and my husband's poodle was beside himself with grief.  He had never spent a day alone in his life and was devastated.  That got me started with doodles.  They are wonderful companions for other pets and people.  Have you ever seen Bocker?  He was also my inspiration and is still around on the East Coast doing charity functions and modeling.  Take a look if you want some doodle inspiration.  And welcome to DoodleKisses - the best website around for doodle lovers everywhere.  But be warned, it can be addictive.  Example, I got up this morning and came to my computer and right to DK, even before checking my mail.  Now it is time for some coffee.  My husband and I (both retired) have our coffee in bed each morning with the doodles.  They each have their places and follow me to the bedroom with the coffee and assume their positions.  That is the start of our day.  Cheers!  Look forward to your new family member.

He does look like an old soul but he is just a big old baby. lol Yes I think all our lives are about to change. No Pong is not on the list. :) Ping is actually named after a person in our home town who was very iconic. I hope he is patient I am gonna give him his space when he needs it.
