Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
Well we signed up to receive a puppy from one dog and we were number 6 on the list but our dog just had two puppies. Thankfully there was room on the mini and the other Medium sized doodle. So we pick 9th out to 9 puppies. There were 4 girls and 5 boys. We want a girl but if girls are popular that day we may end up with a boy. They are so cute. They are now a little over 2 weeks old. She said some may drop out or decide to wait so if that happened we may move up on the list. Regardless, we are so excited to get our puppy. It is like waiting on a new baby. Cross your fingers for me that we get a good tempered girl. :) If not a girl then a mellow one.

We are getting a Golden Doodle. I think I might drive the breeder crazy waiting for this weeks pics. They are 3 days late. LOL
Congrats. Your pup will be perfect whatever color or sex. I wanted a red female when we got Apricot Ned. I never wanted a cream or white dog when we rescued Clancy........ LOL
What an exciting time! I thought I wanted a female, but I adore the male I finally picked.
Good luck with your selection. But, be open ( and it sounds like you are) to either a boy or a girl. We have three males and they are the most loving doodles you could ever imagine. On the last one, I had decided that we needed a girl this time. My husband feel in love with a boy and (although I do not like to tell him he's correct), he was right on this one. So we have three males and love it. I would not have it any other way.
Congratulations and good luck with your pick! I was sure I wanted a girl but ended up with a great little boy. If you bond, socialize, play, and train from the heart, you'll be blessed with a wonderful dog :)
This is like the old fashioned way of having a baby-not knowing the sex until it's born! I have a boy and he is the most mellow fellow there is-so I am thinking you will be happy either way.
I'm so happy for you! Hooray! Can't wait to see photos. ;o)
Oh, so exciting!! I am glad you are open to any pup since they can all be great--it is not an automatic thing to get a mellow or good tempered pup--they are full of energy as youngsters but as they mature, the good tempered ones are the ones that have been trained well and treated well--lots of love mixed with training and you will have a great dog!
Congratulations and be sure to post pictures when she/he joins the family:)
