Day One and hour 2 ~ with the SUPPOSEDLY indestructible I-Dog Dragon... Tag: shredded, and top spine: torn... Well.... maybe I should enter Tori in the Guinness World Book of Records for strongest teeth.... We'll see how long this actually WILL last.... My DH was right....more money "well spent"... On a positive note - she does just LOVE it....

Haha, good to know, I was thinking about buying this for Krimmi but I won't bother. He is also the destroyer of anything "cuddly looking". Sometimes he sneaks into our daughter's bedroom carrying out one of her stuffed animals. Thankfully he gives them up as soon as I catch him. I have bought him one in the past and when I tried to take that one away because it was torn, he absolutely refused and I had to trick him, not an easy task.

Parents....sheesh! Mine are totally the same way. They keep hoping to find that elusive 'indestructible' toy .... Hahaha! They don't realize that is an oxymoron. Don't they get that destructability IS what makes a toy a toy? Like what ELSE are we supposed to do with soft, furry, squeaky little animals...cuddle with them and sing them songs? Have tea parties? Parents...they'll just never learn. *sigh*

THIS IS IT....except her's is green. I am going up to our other computer now to upload the minimal damage she has done today. Thinking about just cutting down those spikes... right now she's just cuddling it, but dare not leave her too long.... LOL

Is this the dragon that you are talking about? Lucy destuffs every toy I buy her. She picked this one out at Petsmart and I reluctantly bought it because it is made out of "Chewguard" material. WELL, she has had it since Thanksgiving and it is still intact. She really has not been able to destuff it. There was a speaker in it and she was able to break it, somehow, but it is still inside!

Yes! I even watched a video showing 2 dogs tugging on it, a car running it over, a trailer,and then thru the washing machine. I know it wasn't meant as a chew toy, but just when I think "Awe, how cute... she's cuddling with it... I notice another tip of the spines gone... Guess those tests didn't include gnawing off the pikes on the poor dragon's back LOL Just took pictures... I'll have to post them on my page

Don't you wonder who tests these things. After all Chewy is a puppy and Tori is just a dainty, delicate female (LOL) OK maybe she isn't that delicate but she is just a sweet little girl. Maybe the manufacturers use cats or toy poodles or something to test these supposedly indestructable toys.

I am totally with you! Spent $15 on some indestructible toy - within 5 minutes, Peri had destroyed it!!! HA!
Again, I am finished with all toys except hardy rubber ones or antlers for the time being.....
