Hi Doodle friends, Murphy here. Yes, I'm baaack!!! My Mom has been telling me all about your "get well" thoughts and prayers these past few days when I was so sick. You all ROCK! I love you all! Yesterday afternoon I started to feel just like my "old self". Yup, you guessed it guys....my old "naughty" self. Being really sick was a "bummer", but at least I got to postpone the "tough love" that Mom had planned for me. She was feeling very sorry for me, and she was petting me and kissing me all the time. I loved that part of it. Plus I got treats for doing ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! I think I slept for three days...and I don't remember too much about it except for Mom's kisses. I also got to go to the Vet's three times, and I love it there. All those pretty girls kissing me and saying "oh, poor Murphy". They tell me I'm handsome and a "good boy"....man do I love that. Yesterday afternoon when I started feeling good again I had so much energy, and I had to make up for three days worth of "naughtyness"....and I did a real good job of that. I had big zoomies, and "stuff" was flying everywhere. Mom wasn't too happy about the big candle in the living room....whoops. My brother, Guinness, had a three day vacation while I was sick. I didn't want him to get used to the idea that the toys belonged to him, so yesterday I took them all and brought them up on the Daybed where he couldn't reach them. He was pretty mad....Mom said that wasn't fair. Can you even believe she had the nerve to "yell at me".....I'm a very sick boy, and there should be NO "verbal corrections". I still have to have all the medicine in my eyes and ears, but I make Mom and Dad "work for it now". Yes, no more just laying there while they drop stuff in my eyes. I fight real hard and try to get away. When Mom gets the bottles out, I run like the wind. Guess what happened last night? Mom gave me dog food for dinner! Can you believe that one....what happened to the steak and chicken I had while I was sick? Are you kidding me! I plan to "milk" this illness for all it's worth....how long do you think I can postpone the "tough love"? I'm not sure exactly what that is, but I don't like the way it sounds. Mom was saying something about having to go back to training pretty quickly...she didn't like it when I jumped and pulled on our walk yesterday (said something about pulling her arm out of the socket). Mom can be a bit of a "drama queen"....her arm was definitely still in the "socket". I saw a big black dog, and I really needed to go check him out. Moms don't get it. Oh well, she'll soon have me on a very "short leash" if you know what I mean. Tomorrow I go back to the Vet to be checked again, and I have a feeling my training may start up after that. I plan to act very sick at the Vet so I'll get more "lovin" from the girls...so maybe they'll say that my training needs to wait a while. I sure hope so. That's it for now. I need to go chase my brother for a while. Love and hugs, Murph.

Oh boy Murph, I am so glad you are feeling better, my Mom was so upset the last two days. She kept hugging me and ging thru my fur looking for something she called disgusting tics. Doesn't she know that I have a tic collar on???...she should she put it one me and my brother so we wouldn't get them, whatever they are. Murph, just let Mom and Dad do the medicines for you, if you don't fight it, it will be done a whole lot quicker, and you might get more treats that way. When I had that bad infection on my paw, I learned as soon as Mom said we have to do medicine to just go on the bed and wait for them to do the medicine thing...I got lots of hugs and x-tra treats too...I am going to be getting that tough love thing too, very soon, I like to pull when I see somethin that interest me too!!!...Mom says the same thing your Mom does, that she will probab;y have her arm pulled out of the socket? Whats a socket and whats an arm???...Anyway both Renny & I are so happy to hear you are back to being Murph...Say hi to Guiness for us, and be good to Mom & Dad, they were really scared when you were so sick....Love & hugs from your friend Oliver (and my Mom) here in Florida..

Oh Murphy this is such great news! My Mom has some stories similar to big black dog that involve bad kitty or squirrel. But, a girl has got to do what a girl has got to do-that is my motto. Plus, I try to leave arms in socket almost always. I work hard at it-just sometimes very last minute-I get this impulse and it is too much to refuse. I know you get me Murphy. Love, Sadie
