I'm Leaving My Doods In the Capable Hands of DH And My DK Girlfriends

Tomorrow morning I'm heading to Atlanta for my nephew's graduation from Army Boot Camp.  I have always been particularly close to this nephew, and he really wants me to come.  The thing is.....I have to leave my guys until late Friday night.  I will be really, really worried about them.  I know that my DH will take great care of them....and I've home cooked enough food until Saturday.....but still.  So, I told my husband that if there are any problems he can either call the Vet or get right on DK and ask you all for advice.  YOU KNOW HOW I DO THINGS, so I totally trust your advice...about anything.  He knows just how to get to DK...he's a lurker.  I'm not sure if he'd have enough nerve to actually post, but if the situation was dire enough I think he would.  Joanne's husband, FJ, has set the standard for guys having the confidence to deal with all the women of DK.  Way to go FJ!  So, if you do see a post in the next few days, please be kind.

Hi Jane's DH! Thanks for the update! It sounds like Guinness may be having a little mommy withdrawal! Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day for him! I'm so proud of Murph! He is doing just great!  And so are you! Keep up the good work!!

Jane's DH you are a star! Thank you for posting and keeping us up to date on the doodle training. Guiness is probably bummed his mom is gone and decided to act out. Murphy gets the gold star today. You, too! Clearly you are doing a superb job!

Dh hang in there. I have to leave written instructions for my DH when I leave town. And I also have to homecook for our sensitve chihuahua so he is in your same boat for sure!  So funny!!

[Jane, Guinness and Murphy]

We had a training session today.  Poor Guinness was the worst he has ever been.  The trainer took him out of the car and I had Murphy.  Murphy was great but Guinness decided that he was going to smell and do his thing.  Wrong.  Ben had corrected him and that was all Guinness needed.  He pouted the whole walk, temper tantrums and all.  Murph was off line and walking like a pro and Guinness was pulling and dragging behind the whole walk.  Not a pretty sight.  In the beginning I had Murphy on a leash and we came upon a couple with three dogs, all with unstable energy.  One was barking and making a scene and Murphy never flinched.  He walked right on by, just like he was trained.  Someone sure did a good job of training him.  I will clean up the house about an hour before Jane gets here and she'll never know.  Right now the two of them are dead to the world.        dh

Any big outings planned for the boys today?  You know Murphy needs consistent training so you probably should attempt a nice long walk with the two of them.  There haven't been any frantic posts so you guys must all be living it up...don't forget to clean up the house before Jane gets back!

DH, The two hour comment gave me a chuckle as did the dogs eating better than me comment. I can't believe Jane didn't leave you some gourmet meals too. I guess she was too busy cooking for the dogs :) You are doing a great job and I am impressed with your updates.

When I first started reading the comments I thought why is Jane talking about the boys eating better.  Then I realized it was DH posting.  Jane did cook an extra days worth, so eating one serving should be okay. :)
